Making headlines earlier in the year for being the UKs first ever #1 single for downloads alone, the song has obviously left more than a taste of novelty with it’s fans and Rolling Stone Magazine - as they’ve named “Crazy” their best song of the year.

It took awhile for “Crazy” to click with me, maybe because it was played so much on TV and radio. What I did like though, was that a song with a such a big soulful voice was so high up in the charts for so long. I like their latest song “Gone Daddy Gone” better - but if it gets as over played as “Crazy” I might change my mind!

Another tip of the hat to Gnarls Barkley is that their album St. Elsewhere has been nominated for a Grammy for Album of the Year.

Rolling Stone’s #2 song of the year would be my pick for #1. The Raconteurs “Steady As She Goes” has got to be the coolest track written this year. Great band, great song.
