September is a busy month for UK album releases. There are albums coming out by bands and artists such as Hard-Fi, Sean Kingston, KT Tunstall, Siouxsie, Deborah Harry, Dykeenies, Eddie Vedder, PJ Harvey, Manu Chao, Mark Knopfler, Angie Stone, Foo Fighters, Joni Mitchell, Ian Brown, Pink Floyd’s 40th Anniversary Edition and of course 50 Cent and Kanye West - with 50 Cent mentioning in the media that he would retire if Kanye West sells more albums than him. What I want to know is - if he meant US sales, UK sales, both or worldwide? Either way, 50 Cent’s statement was good publicity for both him and Kanye West.
