Bitter:Sweet is set to release their latest album, ‘The Remix Game’ on August 7th, 2007. The Remix Game is a collection of songs from their debut album, ‘The Mating Game’ (2006), remixed by some of the top mixologists, such as Thievery Corporation, AtJazz, Skeewiff, Nicola Conte, and Fort Knox Five.

I’ve been listening to Bitter:Sweet’s tracks - from both ‘The Remix Game’ and ‘The Mating Game’ albums, and can they groove. Shana Halligan’s laid back vocals and harmonies alongside a brilliant mix of electronica and trance produced by Kiran Shahani (The Supreme Beings of Leisure) is refreshing, and it’s interesting to hear the new mix of funky, jazzy, house remixed versions of the songs as well.

Bitter:Sweet’s music is perfect after a long day when you just want to sit down, relax and forget all your troubles.
