The Waterboys will be releasing their latest single, “Everybody Takes a Tumble” on March 19th in the UK. The single is off of their new album, Book of Lightning, out on April 2nd.

Mike Scott has been playing music in the folk, celtic and sometimes rock style Waterboys since 1983 when he formed the band. After playing live and recording for ten years, there was a period when the band stopped, and then in 2000 they re-formed. Scottish musician Mike Scott is The Waterboys and throughout the history of the band he’s had many musicians join him on stage and in the studio.

The Waterboys have been based in various cities including Dublin, London and New York. Their music has reached fans around the world and the ones that I know are a passionate bunch that have attended numerous shows - and as far as they’re concerned, The Waterboys can do no wrong.
