Gwar covers Alice Cooper plus European tour dates

Gwar is one of those bands that when they’re brought up in conversation, usually the person that I’m talking to about them has been to one of their live shows. The funny thing about that is nine times out of ten, they don’t seem “the type” that would attend a Gwar concert.

After all wouldn’t you think that it takes a “certain type” to be a fan of a band that dresses up as monsters that could easily have come straight out of a horror movie? And then there’s the music. Horrorific!

Actually, if I ever do get the chance to go and see them, I probably will. If anyone who knows me is reading this - stop laughing! I mean it. After all, I’m a fan of horror movies, loud music and would also fit in to the stereotypical category of “not the type” to like Gwar…so therefore would probably fit in just fine. And besides, their show can’t be any scarier than the first time I ever went on Space Mountain or watched “Wolf Creek” alone at night in the dark, now can it?
