Towers Of London set to release I’m A Rat

Donny Tourette and his Towers Of London are set to release their latest single, “I’m A Rat” on February 12th in the UK. They’ve got a fun, old school punk rock sound and when listening to them or watching their videos it’s hard not to think of the Sex Pistols and the New York Dolls with a hint of Motley Crue thrown in.

The title of their track, “I’m A Rat” seems apropos considering Donny Tourette’s short stint in the now controversial UK Celebrity Big Brother house. He had entered the house looking like he’d had a few drinks and acting the stereotypical rocker as he annoyed and offended his fellow housemates.

I’ve got to give Donny credit though, when he jumped the fence as soon as he heard that former Big Brother 3 contestant Jade Goody was going to be joining the celebrities in the house. Since then, the Big Brother house has turned into a major news story as thousands have called in complaints, accusing the housemates of alleged bullying and racially abusing Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.

If you’d rather stick to the music rather than the controversy, why not watch the video for Towers Of London’s single, “How Rude She Was”
