In the past I’ve been a bit of a sucker for Big Brother and I’m not proud to admit this shameful fact. It was difficult last year not to be drawn in when housemates Dennis Rodman, Pete Burns (Dead or Alive) and Goldie Lookin’ Chain’s Maggot walked through the doors.

This year Jermaine Jackson seems to have found his way to the house and I think there will probably be a time when I’ll be watching with only one eye open, observing the perfect cringeworthy TV experience. Unless it turns out to be a dud. It’s hard to imagine that he’ll be in this for the long haul and some of the other guests don’t have quite the ‘celebrity status’ as Jermaine Jackson…so only time will tell.

Jermaine isn’t the only Jackson to make it on to UK TV this week. Believe it or not I’m not talking about Michael - Tito Jackson is currently on the BBC’s Just the Two of Us. He’s one of the judges on the panel, which also includes Stewart Copeland (The Police), for the celebrity singing competition.

What’s going on with the Jackson brothers all of a sudden, here in the UK? I wonder if they have the same agent. It will be interesting to see whether or not Tito or Jermaine make the headlines in someway other than just being there. Hopefully they didn’t get tips from little sister Janet. We wouldn’t want another Superbowl type occurrence on live TV, now would we?
