Unsigned band Latonic is set to release their latest single, “Twisted Devotion”, available for download on February 12th. This will be the second release for the Glasgow based indie-rock band.
After having success in the UK Independent Charts with their debut single, “Turn On The Sky” back in October, it will be interesting to see how [...]

Acoustic Ladyland is an avant garde jazz band from England and by their name alone, it’s easy to see that they’re Hendrix fans. Their band name is a fun play on words using the title of Jimi Hendrix’s album Electric Ladyland originally released in 1968, to pay homage.
It’s good to see Jimi Hendrix being respected [...]

Yusuf Islam, or the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, had been out of the musical mainstream for the last 28 years before releasing his latest album, An Other Cup last year.
After being out of the limelight for so long, I was surprised when Yusuf appeared on Later with Jools Holland back in November. He [...]

Dave Navarro is truly a rock blog, podcast and video pioneer. He’s probably one of the busiest musicians not only actively playing rock music but also on the net. For the last few years his blog 6767.com has been a place for his fans and the curious to see what rock musicians get up to [...]

The Oxford based band The Young Knives have certainly made their mark on the music scene - not only here in Oxford but around the whole of England. Now it looks like they’re getting ready to meet the Americans as they are scheduled to play in the states on their upcoming tour.
The first time I [...]

Klaxons latest single “Golden Skans” has reached number 14 this week in the UK charts based on download sales alone. Although they’re signed to Polydor I’m sure they’re all delighted about the new rules now that “singles can chart from the moment they become available as official downloads”.
There are a lot of new bands cropping [...]

Stevie Nicks has announced new tour dates as well as a greatest hits album scheduled for release this spring.
With Stevie Nicks’ Fleetwood Mac bandmate Lindsey Buckingham currently on tour, I wonder if this could be leading to a new Fleetwood Mac tour/album release in the near future?
They seem to have the best of both worlds. [...]

A new film about Joe Strummer will be premiering at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah with the first screenings beginning this weekend. Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten directed by Julien Temple (The Great Rock and Roll Swindle) is a documentary about the late singer/guitarist who fronted and co-founded English punk [...]

Donny Tourette and his Towers Of London are set to release their latest single, “I’m A Rat” on February 12th in the UK. They’ve got a fun, old school punk rock sound and when listening to them or watching their videos it’s hard not to think of the Sex Pistols and the New York Dolls [...]
