Crazy is Rolling Stone’s best song of the year

Gnarls Barkley sure hit the nail on the head with the pop hit “Crazy” off of their debut album St. Elsewhere. Making headlines earlier in the year for being the UKs first ever #1 single for downloads alone, the song has obviously left more than a taste of novelty with it’s fans and Rolling Stone Magazine - as they’ve named “Crazy” their best song of the year.
It took awhile for “Crazy” to click with me, maybe because it was played so much on TV and radio. What I did like though, was that a song with a such a big soulful voice was so high up in the charts for so long. I like their latest song “Gone Daddy Gone” better - but if it gets as over played as “Crazy” I might change my mind!
Another tip of the hat to Gnarls Barkley is that their album St. Elsewhere has been nominated for a Grammy for Album of the Year.
Rolling Stone’s #2 song of the year would be my pick for #1. The Raconteurs “Steady As She Goes” has got to be the coolest track written this year. Great band, great song.
