These are the bands in order of importance that helped to change the face of modern music from the mid-70s until the mid-80s. All of the music from these bands have stood the test of time over the last 30 years. They’re still more exciting than a lot of the bands that I listen to on the radio and see on TV today. There was a certain scariness and unpredictability that I don’t feel with most music of the current time.
