This morning started off pretty good - with my coffee in hand I turned on the tv to find Little Man Tate’s video playing for their latest single, “Man I Hate Your Band”. Believe it or not I hadn’t heard that song until this morning and their raw bass driven indie punk sound, along with a vintage black and white video left me feeling optimistic and excited about the bands of today.

With a title like “Man I Hate Your Band” you’ve got to give these Sheffield boys a lot of credit for their honesty. As harsh as they may be, I can understand where their lyrics are coming from and it’s refreshing to hear them getting the mainstream attention that they deserve.

Little Man Tate have been touring around the UK and Europe, and one act that has supported them for a few of their shows was the excellent band The Hussys from Glasgow, Scotland who we played on the Trendy Bands Podcast.
