Lukas Rossi Wins Supernova Now a New Name

Since Lukas Rossi has won Rockstar: Supernova, now it looks like Tommy, Gilby, Jason and Lukas need to find a new band name. For legal reasons they can’t keep the name as just ‘Supernova’ and are now asking fans to help them out. They still want to keep ‘Supernova’ as part of the name and are looking to add an additional word or words to it like,
Enter The Supernova
High speed Supernova
Supernova Sex etc
By logging on to Tommy Lee’s site at www.tommylee.tv you can submit ideas to the band.
I thought ‘Supernova Mayhem‘ would be good…
I guess at this point since the show has ended and there aren’t any gigs yet this is a good way of keeping the band in the press, even though it seems unfortunate they have to rename the band.
It just goes to show for all those other bands out there who have been through something like this that even if you have tons of money and are known worldwide, not everything goes your way and that you better be sure that when you’re naming your band that it’s okay to use without having to worry about trademarks.
